When we as human beings think about reality, we began to look around and determine our reality by what we see, feel or think. This can be true if you are not a child of God. As a child of God, we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. We place more emphasis on what we see than on what the word of God says. The bible states in Hebrews 3:11 “But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.” We have been called to a life of faith, which means that our life in Christ is built on faith, not by sight.
Note what Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 4:18. “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
So, what are we truly fixing our eyes on, the seen or the unseen? Ask yourself that. What drives your decision making, the seen or the unseen? When you have not yet seen the manifestation of what God has spoken to you that does not mean it is not your reality. If God told you He would heal you, praise Him until He heals you. Your reality is not based on what you see, your reality is based on what God said.
So ask yourself, what is your reality?
